Cameron Park Country Club’s members
have developed a strategic plan to insure continued
value and provide a roadmap for asset management based
on a common vision. The plan is divided into two phases
and is expected to cover the next 10 years.
Phase 1 Status
1. Pay off Pro Shop loan
Saves interest cost of $1,000 and eliminates a special
projects charge
of $15.00 per month.
2. Improve tee #1 and practice areas adjacent to
the clubhouse
Substantially increases the putting areas and relieves
congestion during
high use times.
3. Eliminate ditch across fairways #14 and #15
Rids a potential safety hazard to players and improves
quality experience.
4. Develop Land Use Study
Professional develop a land use study to improve swimming
pool complex,
tennis courts and driving range. Build additional
golf cart stalls
5. Enhance front entrance to clubhouse and improve
landscaping - Completed 4/03
Provide a new entrance and improved to enhance clubhouse
curb appeal.
6. Irrigation system upgrade - Completed
Improves course playability, reduces hand watering
and improves water
management.
7. Level selected tee boxes
To enhance golfing experience.
8. Renovate all bunker complexes and enhance golf
course design - Started, 4/03
Increased playability
Phase II Status
1. Driving range improvements
Upgrading grass and adding teeing sites for use during
inclement
weather.
2. Establish a long range plan for swimming pool
complex
Examination of how this asset fits within clubs long
term plan
3. Add additional private golf cart retail stalls
Improve waiting time
